I'm trying to find a fic I read a few months ago. Sam and Dean kill the Winter Gods and get turned into Pagan gods of Summer. They become symbols of fertility and I believe they both sleep with Ellen and give her a son. If anyone could help me find this that would be really greatly appreciated! Thanks ya'all!

And I was wondering if maybe someone wrote a fanfiction along that? I'd really like to read something like that. I tried using Google but maybe the fact that I'm not sure what exactly to put on the search bar may have something to do with it.

My friend has just started watching Supernatural and I wanted to help recreate the fannish experience for her of watching the show as it aired and then reading fic and watching vids written around the same time. I am looking for fic and vid recs based on season - I have put together a place for people to list them by year (and I am adding my own recs - I am still working on Season 1). Okay, so I've searched this before, but I think quite a few of my facts were wrong and nothing was found, but someone knows what story I'm talking about, so I'll try again!

So, Sam's not in it (I don't know why, he's just not) and John is extremely abusive towards Dean. He forces him to be a football player and is extremely harsh training wise. He's also sexually abusive.

Cas has a twin named Jimmy and Jo is their sister. I THINK they live with Bobby and Ellen. Somehow Cas meets Dean, and sparks fly or whatever and Cas realizes something is up.

I remember that John tries to do something to Dean by the bleachers at a football game (I think he rapes him, though I'm not positive) but Bobby and Ellen catch him and Dean moves in with them.

The only other thing I remember is that because Cas and him have a relationship, Dean decides to live with Castiel's grandmother rather than the other art of the familty because it would be weird and I think John had carved something into Dean's arm.

Also, I believe it's on Fanfiction, though I'm not positive, once again.

There are two themes I've been looking for for a while now:

1. Canon!verse AU where John is the one rescued from hell by Castiel, but it still wonderfully ends up being Destiel. Perhaps a retelling of seasons 4-7?

2. Fics where the guys are cursed with some sort of musical spell (or maybe it's just Gabriel messing with them) which compels them to randomly burst into a song (like that epic episode of BtVS). And yes, I've read Party like it's 1999 (and it's awesome). Doesn't have to be necessarily slash.

Extra love for the presence of Bobby and Ellen and Jo and Gabriel and Balthazar (and crap, I just made myself sad).

Hi everyone! So, for these last few days I've been looking for this awesome, awesome video I hadn't seen in a while, but I don't remember what it's called so I can't find it on youtube... 
I do remember what it was about: it was build around the epi in which Jo and Ellen died. There's just music, no lyrics. The music is very epic/grand, if that makes sense. The last scene is Dean shooting Lucifer in the head.

So, I read this story a long time ago and I am dying to read it again. From what I can remember Sam and Dean were raised as bike riders, but they dont race they are more of the tricks type of bikers and they are on a team with Bobby and Ellen. Both their parents died while riding I think, I know that both of them are dead. Sam and Dean eventually end up together, but I honestly can't remember the story in between that. If anyone can help me out, it would be great!!

I cannot remember anything from the story except the fact that I loved it, and I was stupid enough to forget to save the link.

Anyway, I think it's an AU? Winchester's house got burned down along with Mary and John (..I think) Sam & Dean was handed over to Ellen (who is single, and has Jo as her daughter). One night, Dean overheard Ellen and Zach (Uriel? or whoever - but he's a lawyer in this story) talking about how Ellen can't keep the two of them because she's doesn't have a lot of money, etc etc. Then I remember Dean telling Ellen to "send me away.. keep Sam" or something like that? But Ellen, of course, didn't, and raised the two of them like her own.

I'm not even sure if this is a Dean/Cas story, but... well, hopefully one of you guys know what I'm talking about. And in advance, I would like to thank you so SO much.

Has anybody written anything crossing our boys with Kindred the Embraced? I'm game for anything...oh, I don't know. Maybe Sam and/or Dean having drinks in a bar with a guy named Cash. Or Dean flirting with Sasha. Or maybe Bobby, in his search for some needed manuscript calling Julian Luna for information. Or even Gordon Walker running afoul of Eddie Fiori. I'd love to see the two 'verses interact. any SPN/any known KtE, any genre.

I am looking for a fic that I read a long time ago and really want to read again but cannot find it anywhere! I've searched, gone through my bookmarks - I'm hoping someone can help me.

Dean and Sam are young, Dean is maybe 16 I think, they do have the Impala. John leaves on a hunt and never returns. The boys have to fend for themselves. At one point they have no money and Dean is pimping himself out so he can feed Sammy. He doesn't want Sam to see him doing this, they are parked on the side of the roads by the woods or something, so he sends Sam to stand in the woods where he can't easily see or hear what is going on but still close enough for Dean to watch out for him. Sam disappears and it turns out that he has been taken by vampires. Dean is frantic and it takes him a couple days to find him but he does and is able to rescue him before he is turned or killed. They end up living with Ellen at the Roadhouse and she raises them. Years later they discovered that John was still alive and somehow they ended up back with him. He deserted the boys because he thought it was safer, the demon was on his trail or something. There is naturally a ton of anger and resentment. Once they are both older (don't remember if both were over 18) Dean and Sam did start a sexual relationship. Eventually John and Ellen both found out about it and had different reactions.


Can't remember if Bobby was in this story. There was Ellen, Jo, and Ash.

I appreciate any help that anyone can give I would LOVE to read this story again. It was so well written and really struck a lot of chords with me on how I feel about the characters.

First time posting, so don't know if I'm gonna do right. Also, sorry if I mess up on any of the tags.

Anyway, in this story it was where John had left for some reason (can't remember why, been awhile since I read it), and Dean and Sam ended up alone. Dean started whoring himself out to make money (I think at one point Sam was in the car while it was happening and the guy Dean was with asked if Sam wanted to join) and they ended up at the roadhouse, and starting living with Ellen and Jo (Ellen became like a mother for them). Dean and Sam, I think had ended up in a relationship with each other, and John ended up coming back after like eight years. Also, I think at one point Sam was abducted by vampires or something. Oh, and they were six years apart in this story. Thanks in advance to anybody who can help me find this story.

One of my favorite Supernatural stories is Life After the Invasion by Dragonfan (or Steamfan, depending on which site you're reading it on). This Buffy/Angel crossover starts with Sam, Jess, and other Stanford students, and everyone else watching TV news at that time, catching Dean and John joining the battle against the demons (this is Buffy/Angel canon) invading L.A. So now the world knows about supernatural hunters, with the Winchesters' faces known enough to rate in People magazine's Sexiest Men poll.

What I'd like to find is any other stories where hunters are caught live on the news, outed to the world. I mean on a hunt, not like the story where one of the boys is sick and film of him taking a dump by the side of the freeway shows up on YouTube. And I mean any familiar hunter, not just the Winchester...Bobby, Ellen, Jo, Pastor Jim, any of 'em.

For J2:  (preferably 16 yr old hs and older, college age, or adults)

I'm looking for fics where

• either of the Js come from abusive backgrounds and are recovering or are still in that environment and need help and the other J helps give him the strength to get away, stand up for himself, and is supportive through the process of recovery.
• either (or both) of the Js suffers from some mental challenge, whether it's a mental illness or a learning disability that either occurred due a physical accident, genetics, or some sort of trauma, and first the other has to cope with becoming friends with someone so "different" and the way other people now treat and look at him as if there is something wrong with him because he wants to be friends with such a person, then has to cope with the guilt of being attracted to him, etc.

For sam/ellen:
I'm looking for one in particular (see below the cut), but I wouldn't mind reading some others.  I guess I wouldn't mind some Jared/Samantha Ferris either if they're out there, but I haven't seen any.

I've been a bit obsessed with horror video games lately so I'm curious if there's any fics out there connecting with the SPN fandom. These could be AU/fusions where plotlines are borrowed from a horror game or an out-and-out crossover.

In particular I'm very interested in Silent Hill related fics. Also topping my list are Fatal Frame (Project Zero) and Resident Evil. Other games are perfectly acceptable, though. (Dead Space, Jericho, Fear, Amnesia, Penumbra, etc etc)

I'm not usually one for crossovers, but I fancy a change so I'm wondering if anyone has any Sanctuary/Supernatural stories? My ideal genré is hurt/comfort and/or case fics - I'd prefer to stay away from any shippy fics.  I'm a huge fan of both shows, so hopefully someone will be able to help me out!

I have never thought that I would like this type of thing but I have recently read a story about dean turning into a girl to be saved from his deal....his charector remaind the same...strong...leader and very loving and protictive but he had new limitations.....sadly tha story is a WIP and hasn't been updated in quite some time so I was wondering if ther were any fics like it out there....with some funny touch because we are talking about dean as a girl.....and if the stories were focussing on how dean looks like his mom even more then it's even better....I would love for other charectors to be present....john, bobby, missurie, elen,jo, caleb,.....and they are very protictive of him. and the most important thing I DON'T WANT IT TO BE SAM/DEAN OR JOHN/DEAN.....GEN would be perfect but I will take any other parings.

so....the titlle kinda gives it away....are ther any fics that have dean being the only hunter in the family?....maybe he descovers it somehow and he becomes good at it and meats all those people ( Bobby, Jim , Caleb,....)....and his family knows nothing of it....and maybe later on they are shocked of what he does.....no wincest please  ;D

also.....are there any fics out there that focusses on the point that dean is a very famouse hunter amongst hunters....that he is weel known or sought out for advice and help....I really want to see his family (dad and sam) shocked by how good he is....also no wincest here :D

Hi Everyone!  I'm looking for a very specific story - hope ya'll can help me out.  I remember Sam had a vision about one of the "chosen" and he and Dean were going to try and help her so as not to have to kill her.  I think unknown to them, Jo heard about her or found out in a totally unrelated manner and was there, also.  Because of her doing something really stupid, or at least Dean blamed it on her, Sam ended up blind.  I remember something about them being at a hotel maybe and Sam got separated from everyone and some baddie was trying to get him.  That's it.  Hope someone knows more than I do about it.

I am looking for two specific fics, which I believe are on ff.net. They are both similar to Still Standing, where Dean is abusive to Sam while he is drunk and blames Sam for everything that is going wrong. I remember the specifics of each story, but my Google magic isn't working.

1.) the first fic is dean is beating sam (who is a girl in this fic) while he is drunk, because of the death of Ellen and Jo. So Sam tries to sell her soul to Crowley, to bring them back, he does but the price is that Sam becomes Crowley's mate. Smexing ensues to seal the deal and it turns out that Crowley actually does care for Sam and is trying to protect her from Lucifer and her brother. A couple of days later Sam turns up later at Bobby's house wearing a green top and leather pants because Crowley want's to make Sam feel special and show her off. Dean ends up threating Sam again, but Crowley protects her and ends up telling everyone how Dean has been treating her and I remember Ellen ends up punching Dean for treating Sam like that.  Found in comments

2.) the second story is like the one before Sam is a girl too and dean is beating her up. She has a lot of angel friends including Castiel and Gabriel. Well after one bad fight with Dean beating her up, she runs into the street planning to kill herself, when Michael shows up to help her. They mate and he protects her from Dean and it ends up with Michael wanting to make Sam the angel of harmony and Gabriel ends up telling dirty jokes or something. Found in comments

Ok, after a hellish scouring of the sites I may have frequented at the time I may have been reading this fic, I'm at a loss. I can usually find old fic, but SPN is a fandom with an extremely high rate of fic intake.

Summary:

Gabriel and Castiel were very close in heaven (Gabriel was very [platonically] attached to Cas and his innocent nature.) After God gives Gabriel a message about the person who will complete him (Sam), Gabriel grows increasingly depressed and desperate. After God gives him a similar message for Castiel about Dean, Gabriel refuses to deliver it and flees heaven.

There's something about Gabriel creating the perfect vessel for Cas to occupy on earth by collecting things like gems for his eyes.

I believe in this fic Sam, Dean, and Chuck all went to school together and stayed best friends. Also, Dean lives with Ellen and Jo, but didn't know they were hunters.

Hi! New to the fandom, and was hoping I could get some fic recs that feature Bobby's backstory.  We know what got him started in hunting, but how does he go from hunting noob to the bamf librarian, fluent-in-Japanese, whenever Sam and Dean are stuck they give him a call character he is in the series? 

There have been earlier searches for how Bobby and the Winchesters met, but I'd like stories that really focus on Bobby's evolution as a hunter and how he meets the network.

Any length, pairing(s), or ratings and self-recs are welcome too! 

I posted this more than a month ago and got no responses... and it's really killing me so here goes (I hope I'm allowed to do this because I got absolutely no responses last time, mods):

I think it was set about season 2ish (at least, it was written about then). It`s been a while since I’ve read it so I`m not that clear on how things were ordered (or whether I`m mixing 2 stories).

I think it started with us seeing Sam and Dean on trial (in different rooms because they hadn’t seen each other since Hendrickson arrested them). Bobby and Ellen were one of the jury members for the trials (one was at Dean`s and the other was at Sam`s). Bobby or Ellen saw how sickly Dean had become. During the trial, Dean was quiet and drawn within himself. Dean`s chair was knocked over and he broke his arm. (& I don`t think he made a sound when it happened... He didn’t cry out or whimper or anything and that just broke the heart of Bobby/Ellen even more). I think there were flashbacks that showed how they got to this point.

I'm looking for a fic that's an outsider's POV. I believe it's Ellen.  Maybe Bill. I don't remember. John and the boys go to the Roadhouse, and everyone refers to them as the 'wolf pack'. I believe it was a series, actually, because I remember a later story where Dean is particularly amused by the fact that they're called that. I do know that it was wincest. 

Also, if anyone could link me to some good POV fics from Ellen's POV, about the boys, about the supernatural, anything really. Any fics with her mother henning the boys (in her own way) would be appreciated as well.

I read a story a while back where Sam got (or tried to get) Dean out of his deal by drowning himself in a bathtub? I think Ellen was there. The point was to "kill" himself and then have Ellen bring him back. It may not have had anything to do with the deal but I do remember a bathtub and Dean being against it. I'm pretty sure I read it on FF.net.

I'm looking for pretty much any Dean/Ellen related fics. They can be ep related or not, just something where the main focus is on Dean & Ellen.

It can either be friendship/surrogate mother relationship, or even - dare I say it? - het fic. As a die hard slasher, that pains me to say, but this is the only het pairing that I might be able to tolerate lol.

My only restrictions are no non-con/rape; and no non AU RPS - I'd really prefer  Dean & Ellen characters, as opposed to Jensen/Samantha; but if there's any good AU's out there, I'll take it.

I've read many, many Spn fics, and yet have rarely (if ever) seen anything Dean & Ellen fics. Can anyone recommend anything?

I'm sure that they get to live with Ellen and for a long while nobody knows what Dean did to get them there.

I'm new to Supernatural and I've been reading everything I can while trying to catch up on the series. I've just finished season 4 and my interests have turned to Castiel. I'm a pretty hardcore slash fan, but when I woke up this morning, I had a hankering for Castiel/Ellen (of all things). Has anybody written any?

I just re-watched "No Exit", and now I'm curious about the fall-out from what we got to know from Ellen: that John Winchester was n some way responsible for killing her husband.

What I'd like are stories that link that ep with the next time we see Ellen or Jo (can also be set after "Born under a bad sign") where the boys feel terrible about that, don't know how to talk to Ellen or Jo and maybe get some harsh words from either of them - or maybe just imagine to get some.

It'd be lovely if these were older, maybe written right after that episode aired, but I don't mind really.

Can be mentioned in passing, can be a short fic or part of a longer one (preferable a case-fic). Aaaaand please only gen (or het, if you must).

After my recent request for Bobby centric fics (here), I'm now after some Ellen centric fics. The same thing applies really, gen or h/c fics that are Ellen centric. My preference would be that it be heavy on Dean, Sam or Bobby (if it's all 3 I'll be a very happy camper!), and as few mentions of Jo as possible!! I know that one may make it a bit difficult, but I just never took to Jo, though I realise that she's bound to feature in some fics!

i had a friend rec me a story that i had never seen before where after mary died john was taught to hunt by an insane hunter.  instead of hunting supernatural things, hunted people who were ungodly because they were the ones who become possessed by demons and are therefore responsible for his wife's death.  sam leaves for college and jess still dies, but bobby comes to see him when her death matches a profile ash and ellen have about the yellow eye demon.  sam realizes there are hunters that are not crazy like his dad and friends.  he go to get dean to help him hunt.  the story is them using what they were taught while kids and learning to hunt evil. i had read to halfway thru season 1 and don't know if it is a wip, big bang, or what.

Hello, I'm looking for three fics.

The first two were posted on the deancastiel community shortly after the season five finale (and before season 6 aired). They both were about archangel!Castiel interacting with the crew of the Roadhouse in heaven. In the first, I beleive that he recruited Ash to basically demolish the barriers seperating everyone's afterlife; the story was told from Ash's pov, and ended up with him directing Castiel to hug and kiss Dean after Cas went to visit his favorite human.

The second one was told from Ellen's pov - it was all about how Cas kept coming to the Roadhouse, and she was gradually adopting him. I beleive at one point in time Castiel stumbled into the Roadhouse wounded and bleeding, and Jo and Ellen took him in and activated the wards and took care of him until he recovered. There was one instance of Jo talking to the Winchesters through Cas's cell phone, and them disbelieving it was actually her for a little while.

The last fic was a wee!chesters and John story. It was about how all of them were put under an animal transformation curse; the catch was, it activated whenever they went to sleep. Meaning that they kept turning into different animals; there was one occasion where Sam and Dean were kittens, then another when they turned into hummingbirds and had to fly to Bobby's house to get help for John (who had turned into a sea lion or seal and was in imminent danger of dehydration as he was locked in the Impala)

It seems to me like there's a mostly-unspoken gulf between working class guys like Bobby and John and Dean (with his GED and his can-do attitude) and some of the wealthier people they solve cases for, not to mention the kids Sam must have known at Stanford. Are there any stories that talk about this stuff?

I'm interested in any kind of story. Winchester focus would be great, but I'd be interested to read about other hunters, too.

need your help again

Unfortunally I lost a story i read a while ago.
I can´t remember the title anymore but if I´m not mistaken then it´s something like "road to perdition" ... or "road to... who the hell knows where ;)


* It´s a gen fic and quite long.
* Sam and Dean staying with some people ...a family I think
* John is back from hell. Don´t know how he came back though
* He´s not very pleased that his sons have contact to this people

* I also think to remember that Dean´s having a hard time to take orders from John

* Ellen and Bobby are also in this Story.

Well that´s it. God it´s driving me crazy that i can´t remember more.
