I don't remember a lot of the details, but hopefully I can provide enough for someone to recognize the fic I'm looking for.

It starts with Jared and his daughter moving to a small town. Their house is a fixer upper and Jensen is hired to fix it up.  Jared goes on a date with Tom Welling who is the town doctor.  There is also a lake behind the house where Jensen and Jared go swimming in the middle of the night.  I don't remember why, but Jensen is kind of angry or outcast by people in town for some reason.
