Comfort-fics / protective boys / Dean finding out about Laylas death  
I had a really crappy day and need something schmoopy to make me feel better  ... thank you in advance!

# 1 I search for fics where one of the boys - Sam or Dean - is really distressed or sad and the other is there to comfort him. I´m a hopeless sap, I know. Gen or wincest, I´m fine with anything. Just give me some serious comfort, please. *makes puppy-dog-eyes*

# 2 J² with the boys being very protective of each other. I don´t care who´s being protective of whom but I´d love to read something where it´s emphasized and not only mentioned in passing.
AU-fics are very welcolme, too.

And last but not least something slightly off-topic:
# 3 Just curious - are there any fics where Layla dies and Dean finds out about it afterwards? Any genre, rating or pairing is finde.

Hate to pimp my own fic, but You're My Home (http://community.livejournal.com/padacklesrps/1211061.html) has Jensen taking care of Jared after he has a difficult time with the "Mystery Spot" shoot. (Spoilers for "Mystery Spot", obviously.)

Floralia has a story where Sam is very badly hurt on a hunt- and her story mainly deals with Dean helping him to get better mentally and physically.

Well, it's not really Layla dying, but it deals with Dean dealing with Layla dying, and I'd spoil it for you if I told you more. ^^;;

Dean’s stretched out on the double bed farthest from the door and rolling the pick across his knuckles while Sam showers. For the first time since Dean started his lists, he thinks he’s found something he might not be able to check off.

It's pretty good in my opinion.
