I'm looking for a fic I read where Jensen's mother had married Jared's father when the boys were younger. In the fic Jared was actually older than Jensen, and when he left home Jared's father abused Jensen, which caused Jensen to run away. When Jared's father dies (Jensen's mother was also dead), Jensen returns to see Jared again, but Jared resents him for leaving, and Jensen won't tell Jared the reason why he actually left. I think the fic was called Reaching for Happiness, but I'm not positive.
