I love reading fics about Dean in school. For the most part, its because those fics are the likeliest to have smart!dean as either a major driving plot point or even just as a nice little acknowledged ability/skill/trait/awesomeness(?).  I've read many worthwhile fics set in high school and college with Dean like this, and I hope I can find even more since I find myself running dry.

1. School fics in general. I prefer them set in high school or college since I'm not much of a Wee!chester fan. Of course, I love reading fics that span Dean's whole life (au or otherwise) with emphasis on the amazing mind (and potential) lurking behind that cocky pie-loving facade. Infrangible Road and Relative Gold by Dayspring are great examples of this and I'd appreciate any recs of fics anywhere near the epicness of Dayspring's portrayal of Dean.

2. Despite the abundance of school fics and genderbenders in this fandom, I find it surprising how few fics combining the two exist. Even rarer  are girl!dean/boy!cas fics. Though I don't mind reading school fics where both are boys, I sometimes wish I'd find a fic where not only is Dean a girl (a fave kink of mine - Jensen is too pretty for his own good), the fic is set in school, and Castiel is a major character. I have yet to find this perfect combination. *I don't even expect a smart!dean on this one since I fear that'll be asking for too much and the world would implode in all the kick-assery if such a fic exists.... 

I'd appreciate all recs any of you can give me. I read mostly general / family / H/C or Destiels but really, I'll try almost anything in this fandom that is made of win. Not that big of a fan for Wincest but I do take what I can get if a particular fic seems to fit all my cravings...

I'm looking for a fic, but all I can remember is one scene.  I think Jensen has been hurt or sick for a while, and they have been filming Supernatural with Dean missing for a couple of episodes.  A new scene is being filmed where Bobby is supposed to suddenly show up and help Sam with something.  However,  Jensen is recovered and they replace Bobby with Dean without telling Jared to get a genuine reaction out of him. 

That's all I remember.  Hopefully this sounds familiar to someone.  Thanks in advance,

Hey guys! I just finished reading A Monster By Any Other Name (http://freac-camp.livejournal.com/517.html) which features a totally and completely broken Sam. I've also read Bait (http://maz-kazama.livejournal.com/tag/bait) which has totally broken Dean.

I'm looking for other fics where one of the boys (Sam, Dean, Jensen, Jared, even Castiel or Misha) has been totally and systematically abused (mental, physical, sexual, anything) and is, basically, now somewhat of a basket case. They're just completely terrified and scared and constantly expecting pain. And I want the other to be desperately trying to make it all better. Basically I was extreme hurt/comfort guys!

Keep in mind I have read a TON of J2. I've read all of leonidasden's fics. NC-17, AU, gen, slash, wincest, its all totally fine. So are self-recs. WIPs I can handle as well. Just give me the most gut wrenching hurt/comfort out there. Thanks in advance!

Hey guys. I'm looking for a specific fic. In it, Dean was a hunter and he owned Sam, who was a psychic for helping out hunters. Dean was also the Dom in the relationship, where Sam was the Sub. They were not related to one another, and Sam was branded with the tattoo that prevents possession as well as a mark that lets everyone know he belongs to Dean. I know for a fact that there were two stories in this verse, but there may be more now. I can give more details that are random, such as a crater is involved someway and Bobby is too, if anyone needs them. Thanks for the help.

I'm searching desperately for good (long) top!Sam fics and because delicious is so very broken I turn to this wonderful brain trust.

Any and all pairings(het and slash) are fine. I always saw Sam as fundamentally a very alpha-male, active person especially contrasted to Dean who is can lead but is very comfortable being the follower and giving up responsibility.

Which is why I want our normal Sammy here not any variations of evil!Sam or Luficer!Sam or insanely-possesive/abusive!Sam (Powers!Sam is fine though, ^^), though he doesn't need to be in any way more dominant in his interactions (positve examples - I recently read^^ - would beOld Country by astolat)

PWP is good, long, plotty fics, where Sam just happened to be dominant would be flowered with virtual cookies though^^

Looking for a fic I read ages ago.  It was Dean and an OFC.  I recall that Dean was researching, and Sam was elsewhere.  I think it was set S3.  The female character was either a librarian or an archivist - someone who was helping with the research.  I remember that the story focused on how hot the temperture was, and I think it mentioned that the woman's hair was curly.  I remember that the story followed Dean's frame of mind and cataloging her signs of receptiveness to him (but that may have only been a sentence or two).  Also, I'm pretty sure it was NC-17, or at least R.

Ok, I was reading a Highlander story that got me wondering if there was a SPN fic along the same vein so here goes:

Are there any SPN fics where Dean, Sam or Castiel is reduced to a child-like, even infantile, mentality due to an injury os some sort of emotional trauma and the other two have to take care of him? I don't mind if it's a slash (Dean/Castiel only) as that could add a strain to the relationship and situation regardless of who's been hurt. I don't want a PHYSICAL deaging story. I want the injured to still have their adult body but the mind of a child. All 3 characters need to be in it!!! Can be a happy/cute fic or a fulll-on angst fic. Happy ending, with everyone restored, preferred. In the Highlander story the one damaged was kidnapped by an enemy so that's be cool too!!!

Ok so this is a bit of an odd request, but does anyone have a complete masterlist/delicious account/whatever of everything kellifer_fic has ever written?

I ask basically because, even though she is alive and kicking and writing fic, she hasn't updated her masterlist in ages. But at the same time, I really don't feel as if I can message her and say "you know, you haven't updated your masterlist in ages, you should get on that" because it's sort of rude and really, I don't have any right to tell people how then run their blog. That being said, she doesn't have a tag for her supernatural fic so it's really difficult to find all her stuff.

So this is me hoping that there is someone out there who, like me, loves her fic like burning but, unlike me, has bookmarked more than just her masterlist and "that thing that's golden". Anyone? Please?

A couple of reposts 1.I remember reading a specific fic that was wincest(?) and I can't seem to find it now. I think it was after there Dad just died and Dean was contemplating suicide but (ok this is gonna sound cheesy) Kinda like the ghost from Christmas past (but it wasn't Christmas) came to show Dean what life without him would have been life for Sam and Dean finds out that Sam would have been abused and neglected by John. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Thanks. P.S It may have or may not have been Wincest but I'm 95% sure it was.
2.Sam is living the 'white picket fence' life in a nice house with a loving girlfriend or wife. When Dean shows up at his door one day he either doesn't know who he is or he been out of his life for several years. Dean knocks Sam out, and when Sam wakes up he's tied to a chair in the basement. Dean is trying to convince his brother that the happy wife he's been living is only a fantasy put into his head by the demon pretending to be his girl. (Can't remember if it's Meg or who.) Sam thinks this dude is crazy, until his girlfriend attacks Dean for interfering in her plans to separate and damn the brothers.
