I love reading fics about Dean in school. For the most part, its because those fics are the likeliest to have smart!dean as either a major driving plot point or even just as a nice little acknowledged ability/skill/trait/awesomeness(?).  I've read many worthwhile fics set in high school and college with Dean like this, and I hope I can find even more since I find myself running dry.

1. School fics in general. I prefer them set in high school or college since I'm not much of a Wee!chester fan. Of course, I love reading fics that span Dean's whole life (au or otherwise) with emphasis on the amazing mind (and potential) lurking behind that cocky pie-loving facade. Infrangible Road and Relative Gold by Dayspring are great examples of this and I'd appreciate any recs of fics anywhere near the epicness of Dayspring's portrayal of Dean.

2. Despite the abundance of school fics and genderbenders in this fandom, I find it surprising how few fics combining the two exist. Even rarer  are girl!dean/boy!cas fics. Though I don't mind reading school fics where both are boys, I sometimes wish I'd find a fic where not only is Dean a girl (a fave kink of mine - Jensen is too pretty for his own good), the fic is set in school, and Castiel is a major character. I have yet to find this perfect combination. *I don't even expect a smart!dean on this one since I fear that'll be asking for too much and the world would implode in all the kick-assery if such a fic exists.... 

I'd appreciate all recs any of you can give me. I read mostly general / family / H/C or Destiels but really, I'll try almost anything in this fandom that is made of win. Not that big of a fan for Wincest but I do take what I can get if a particular fic seems to fit all my cravings...
