I was reading otp_destiel's Unexpected Destinies series just yesterday...again, and it had me craving more fic like that since Dean's outlook tends towards the bleak.  And by that, I mean fic that show the better side of Dean.  It can be dark in places, as I love a good angsty story.  I'd just like it to have some Destiel stories that highlight how special Dean's character can be in (pardon the pun) supernatural ways and in character.  The longer the better, and as I said, I'd prefer Destiel, though Sam/Dean is okay as a last resort. ^^  Oh!  And bonus points for an utterly besotted and protective Cas'. ;)   I really appreciate the help everybody.  Thank you!

Hey guys, looking for any kind of fic where one of the J's is gay and hits on the other who isn't. Then their relationship develops and the none gay one discovers they are in fact into guys, one in particular. I've looked on j2_recs already but nothing seems to be what I'm looking for.

I'm looking for a story about Sam being evil and in hell. Some of the demons gave him stuff so he didn't remember who he was or who Dean was. Sam was mean to Dean and once threaten to cut out his tongue because he kept talking about how he knew Sam. I think Cas saved Dean at the end. I think the background of the authors journal was purple? thanks for any help. :)

I'm hoping someone recognizes this fanfic. Sam, Gabriel and Castiel are brought back to life after the apocolypse, the two angels as human. Sam refuses to contact Dean, wanting him to live normally. The three travel around for a bit and end up at Bobby's, where Dean has been living for several months. It's largely Gabriel/Sam and Castiel/Dean with some weird Bobby/Crowley thing also going on.

Bits I remember: It was fairly long, there was a h/c scene where Sam finds Cas with pain meds, Team Free Will and Gabriel and Crowley's unnoficial roles in the group. Gabriel manages to get into a bar fight, Bobby sprays Crowley with holy water when he misbehaves.

I am looking for a fic where Jared and Jensen are kind of roommates/neighbors and it is knotting fic. I remember the story was not finished and it did not have a typical knotting fic storyline. Jared was beta/omega and Jensen was an alpha. They started off not really liking each other and then Jared started hanging out with Jensen and his friends and they started to become friends. Jensen's friends were unusual and I think the author was hinting that Jensen was also slightly unusual. All the usual CW people where there as Jensen's friends.

Two particular scenes I remember were Jensen went into "rut" and Jared would watch a stream of guys and girls coming and going from his apartment/room and there was a line that said something along the lines of 'the whole place smelled like Jensen had rubbed his balls on everything'

Another scene was when Jared went into heat and he had never gone into heat before and Jensen had to help him through it. They did not have sex but some things for sure happened. I think it ended with Jensen saying he was not like other alphas.

I also think Jared had a knot as well as beta attributes.

I do not remember how long ago this story was written but I do remember the author saying she was going to continue it. If anyone could link me to this story and also a sequel if it exists, I would be forever in your debt.

So, I'm exhausted right now and I need some good fics to build up as a cache to go back to when I need something to do when (if) I have down time :/

1. I would really love some GEN AU and domestic recs. For the AU I mean stuff where Sam and Dean have normal lives, or not so normal lives, but are still the Sam and Dean we know and love. I literally have no other guidelines. Weechester, teenchester, canon age-chester, whatever.I would be fine with anything, I love a little h/c too.

(2. I guess) Along the same line, I want some good domestic fics- along the lines of ratherastory's Fusion!verse. NO WINCEST, don't even rec it.

3. RPS Nurse fics. I've been through the j2-recs list. I don't really care who the nurse is. I would prefer bottom!jared.

4. Also any vulnerable!Jared stories. I'm terrible today and don't have much more than that to go one. Good old h/c, and of course bottom!Jared only.

So, before someone gets sad, of course ALL stories are interesting in their own way. But I am feeling kinda blah today, and I need PLOT.

Which means more "happening" than "getting together", like for example a good police-story, or a spy-story.... like that. Course I'm aware that it's mostly about the Js getting together and the rest is just window-dressiong, but I'd like the window to be dressed so much you don't realize it's even a window... if you get me ;-)

I know a lot of good ones out there, but there MUST be more out.

It should please be AU.
For pairing, please stick with J2, they can be just friends though (if anyone writes that except me, that is) and former-loves are all accepted ;-) .

Crossovers or fusions will be taken happily, and self-recs are always welcome, short, long, doesn't matter.

Prefer destiel but don't care who tops or bottoms :D Since its baby-bird season a Cas with birdlike qualities would be awesome!
