Thought I'd bring this up again, but I've been out of the loop with real life stuff kinda slamming me like a train wreck.  But anyway, does anyone know of anything of decent length that shows us how great Dean really is (the ritcheous man, so to speak).  The weird thing is that I want the epically great dean, in character, but I love his vulnerable side too.  Which tends to bring out protective Castiel, Sam, and or Bobby...and way back there in the back is John. ^^  Unexpected Destinies is a massive fav of mine, but I'll take all sorts of other things.  Not a lot squicks me unless the bondage stuff turns into actually hurtings somebody...you know in an owie kind of way.  I adore Destiel, Wincest as a last resort in pairing, but I'll take some gen in there too as long as there isn't a Marie Sue in sight. ^^  Oh!  And feather snuggles for Dean!Owies and happy endings and uber protective boys. :)  Thanks everybody for always being so helpful.

My computer got sick last month and I lost all of my bookmarks. I'm slowly gathering them up again as I remember. Right now I'm looking for two stories. I don't think either of them was very long.

#1 Sam goes back to visit a teacher, who is disappointed (?) that he hasn't done more with his life, and the teacher thinks dean is abusing sam and offers to help him get away. I think sam and dean are outside the school together when this happens.

#2 j2 - ugh. Um. Okay - some people are gifted, tk etc and jared gets a job at a space station (?) or something, where jensen is and jensen has a special talent (communicates with computers, maybe?) And he bonds with jared, teleporting into his room in his sleep, or something like that. And Jeff is married to alona? I might be confusing two stories? I'd love to have both if I am?

So, I vaguely remember reading this fic a while ago and I totally forgot to bookmark it! I seem to remember that, for whatever reason, Jensen was really down about something and Jared was trying to get him better? There was one specific part in which Jared went away on a trip and Jensen cut his arm and didn't leave his bed for a few days. Jared had to go check on him and there was lots of panicking and drama. I'm pretty sure that he even stayed in a mental hospital for a while. And I think that Jensen's parents wanted to bring him home to look after him, but he wanted to stay with Jared.

In addition, any fics similar to this would be equally awesome! I've read a lot of hurt!Jensen over the past few months and I'm struggling to find new ones, but hopefully you guys will have something. I'm not picky - 'hurt' covers a wide range of things, but if we could try to avoid WIPs, that'd be brilliant. And either J2 or Cockles if possible please.

I've been reading a lot of fics recently where Sam and Dean split up and Dean carries on hunting alone - but he seems to always need saving or is ooc and especially weak.

So basically I'm looking for a fic where Sam and Dean split up and Dean goes on to hunt by himself, but is a major bad ass, getting scars and not needing to be saved or helped because he is just that good! So, yeah, BAMF!Dean is what I'm after today. Bonus points if Sam realises how smart Dean is and how good he is at his job! Basically Dean doesn't need Sam to save him all the time, he can do it himself too and is damn good at it.

No Wincest or season 7 spoilers please!

I went to see Jeffrey Dean Morgan's movie The Possession today, and found myself wanting to write fic where the Winchesters are in the same situation. Has anyone already done so? I'd love to read them.

Hello! I have a terrible habit of forgetting to bookmark fics I've read (and kicking myself every time for it!). I'm looking for a specific pre-series au fic where Dean takes Sam away from John (I think John threatened to kill Sam?) and buys and house for Sam. They learn to deal with the house (it's a really big fixer upper) and Sam's feelings for Dean (Dean rejects Sam even though he secretly wants him back and they work it all out in the end). I believe Dean ends up with a job at a restaurant as a cook instead of the usual autoshop.

If anyone remembers/knows what this fic is, I'd be super grateful! Thanks!

I've been trying to track down a story where Castiel has fallen (all the way?) and is pretty much human. He's been living in a crummy little apartment and having "relations" with the land-lady. I remember him also taking up smoking.

The boys come across him (I don't remember if they knew he was there or not) on a hunt and end up crashing with him and such.

I remember the hunt being related to a group off ghosts (teenagers?).

Any help would be much obliged.
