I'm looking for a fic I read early in the year. It was about Dean and Castiel going on their first ever date. I think Cas might have been operating on a dating column to get into Dean's pants, but what I definitely remember is that, at one point, they go to a lake, and find a sea monster, then Gabriel shows up and says the sea monster is his. I think Michael came down too, to see if Dean was worthy of dating Cas.

On another note, I'd love any fics, especially AUs, where Gabriel is a protective big brother to Cas. Even if it's just one scene of him giving Dean the usual 'If-you-hurt-him' speech about Cas, that'd be great.

I'd also like fics where Dean and Gabriel have a good friendship going on, again, preferably AU, but I just want them with an epic platonic bromance.

No slash except canon pairings and Dean/Cas, please.

I read this fic a while ago and I've forgotten the name of it and who it was by.

Things I remember;

Sam and Cas were investigating mysterious deaths in a small town. It turned out that everyone was having bad dreams and they were so terrible that they died instead of having to deal with it.. One person actually falls out of a window in front of Sam and Cas. At one point Sam (or Cas) gets infected and they see the other person die but it turns out to be a nightmare. I think there were demons involved too but I'm not entirely sure about it.

Looking for a story that has John coming back from a hunt(overdue again)he comes back to find Sammy looking good, but Dean thin. Also in the story is :John finding out that dean has been leaving Sam alone & that he has been working the streets when money has been running low. John also tries to give Sammy a phone, but to have the phone Sam has to call John if Dean goes out. John also find the money that Dean has Made. Dean runs away but John finds him & makes Dean Promise to call Bobby if he is ever late coming back from a hunt. John test Dean By leaving just often Money for a short time then calls and tell him that he will be longer. John stays in town and watches to see if Dean does the right thing or goes back on the street to make money or will he call for help. This was a great story but I can not find it. Thanks.

Ok. This is my very first request so please have patience. I am looking for a story where either Sams conciousness (is that a word?) is sent back in time or he himself is sent back. I'm not sure as this was a really really long time ago. I really only remember one thing from the story that stuck out. John tells Dean to get a car and he sleeps with the manager of the dealership to get a discount. After John finds out I think he cries because this isn't the first time Dean has done something like that and then Dean somehow ends up with the Impala. I also know that Dean ends up at Stanford with Sam and the two set up a schedule(?) to hunt around Sam's school schedule. Basically Stanford becomes their home base. That's it. That's all I remember. Oh and that at the time it wasn't finished I don't think. Please Please Please if anyone knows this story let me know where I can find it. Thanks.

Im looking for a specific J2 fic I read a long time ago. I don't remember much of it, but I hope this rings a bell to someone anyways.

It takes place somewhere between the 1920's and 1940's I think. Jensen is sick. I can't remember with what, but I think he walks with a cane. I might be wrong about that. But he lives with relatives, an aunt and uncle or something, and they really despise him. And they keep him secluded and inside the house cos he has a weak health.

JDM gets a job working on the family's fence or something I think.

I can't remember how Jensen meets Jared, but Jared is living somewhere outside the little town and Jensen sees him sometimes in stores and stuff. Jared is described as some kind of 'free spirit' type of person.

JDM has a son who comes home I think. He's gay and very sick, and he has a broken heart, and both Jared and Jensen takes care of him. For some reason I seem to remember the son being Tom Welling, and his lover who broke his heart is Michael Rosenbaum who later shows up to win Tom back?

Anyways - does this sound familiar to anyone? Please help!!!

Basically, I remember reading a fic ages ago in which Jared moved in to the apartment next to Jensen's (who was living with Chris, if I remember correctly.) Jensen was super shy (possibly agoraphobic?) and I remember one specific part where Jared was talking to Jensen through the divider on their balconies and Jensen was knocking against it in response. I also seem to recall something about Jared lending Jen an old stuffed animal to 'look after'. Oh, and something about a trash chute.
