Compels you was actually the story I read (in the BDS fandom) that got me interested in SPN :). I don't usually read crossovers where I don't know both crosses...but I made an exception, and I am SO glad I did.

At Twisting the Hellmouth Dragonfan wrote a series of stories in the Dawn Winchester universe where the Scoobies figure out that Dawn isn't Buffy's sister, she's her daughter. The monks took a bit of Buffy, and a bit of an unknown male and made a (Willow's phrase) magickal test-tube kid. In the midst of battle with Glory, Willow sends the Key to her father, whoever he may be, using the DNA tests she'd done. Imagine John W driving down the road and suddenly *POOF* there's a screaming teenage girl in the seat beside him. Anyway, there's no slash here (damn it) but the McManus twins cross paths with Willow on a job and she takes them to the new Slayer house in Cleveland. Faith is dating one of the Winchester boys and they're running a demon bar. Turns out Faith knew the boys in Boston before she was Called. This is in story #8 "Setting Up the New Council." Dawn Winchester and Life After the Invasion are two different twists in BtVS/SPN and I enjoyed them both.
