I should have saved this but I didn't.

Angels don't see colors, the know them but they don't understand them if that makes any sense. The first color Castiel sees is the green of Deans eyes, they're a special shade that Castiel's never seen before and even after being dragged back to heaven they're still green.

the writing was nothing short of beautiful and poetic and I'm not doing the fic or author any justice but I'd love to read it again.
