disabilty since birth/ early childhood  
Hey guys! :)

I was wondering if there's fic out there where one of the boys (preferably Sam though) has some kind of disabilty since birth or early childhood. I don't really care what kind- blind, deaf, wheelchair... anything that would have a significant impact on their lives.

I know there's the "Deaf Sam" verse by mishaphappens (http://neppie.livejournal.com/tag/deaf%21sam) but other than that I haven't come across anything where it wasn't caused by a curse or accident in later life.

i know quite a few disability fics but not many from birth. one that comes to mind is 'The Missing Piece' on fanfic.net by flutie4life. and there's a sequel as well. Sorry I don't have the link with me!

Not sure if this is really what you are looking for but Dawn N has a very young Sam (11) almost drowning and living with a mental disability.
