UST with a resolution
Hi! I haven’t had much time to read of late and my internet connection has been wonky so I feel a little out of touch. I’m looking for recs to distract me during a lazy, indulgent weekend where I’m hoping my internet will hold out.

I’d prefer J2 primarily because that’s what I’m in the mood for, but I’ll more than happily take well developed Sam/Dean if it fits.

I’d like stories with a strong subplot of UST. I can’t get enough of stories when one of the boys is heavily crushing on the other and doesn’t think it will ever go anywhere, but eventually they’re surprised when it does. It’s such a good belly aching feeling when you get to that point.

The longer the better, but I don’t mind as long as the characterisation is good and the story/relationship is well developed.

I tend to prefer a toppy Jared, but it depends on how the writer sells it. And I like Daneel and Gen so no fics where they get demonised please. Also no fics with cheating please as it's one of my main squicks.

So, if all that's not too hideously picky :/ hit me.

lets see here
Come Play With Me (http://lexzilla.livejournal.com/21213.html) by [livejournal.com profile] lexzilla is pretty heavy in the UST department, I think so anyway, it's an amazing fic regardless.

And the Rest, As they Say, is History. (http://raina-at.livejournal.com/271229.html) by [livejournal.com profile] raina_at is very cute and sorta just what you described.

Unfortunately, my memories and links are a mess but if I find anymore I'll send the links your way!

Re: lets see here
Heh, they both fit wonderfully, though I've already read both. Been a while since I last read Come Play With Me though so thank you for the reminder.

Also, that's an awesome Ruby icon btw

All of these are AU:

Here's Fragging You, Kid (http://community.livejournal.com/quicksilverfics/10281.html) (J2, Jared/Sandy; NC-17; ~31k words) by [livejournal.com profile] purequicksilver
The Professional Gamers AU: Jensen "Frakles" Ackles' is the most successful Quake 3 gamer ever and Jared has always been his biggest fan. Now Jared has followed in the footsteps of his idol and become a professional first person shooter gamer himself – but Frakles retired from professional gaming before they could meet. Now Frakles is back and – thanks to Chad, who is working for a popular gaming show on TV - Jared finally gets the opportunity to meet the man who has been his idol since he was nineteen…

Little Bit of Inertia, Little Bit of Momentum (http://juice817.livejournal.com/304947.html) (J2; NC-17; ~22,200 words) by [livejournal.com profile] juice817
Jensen has been avoiding his former best friend Jared for nearly ten years, but with their moms being best friends too, it couldn't last forever. When Jensen is roped into a summer in the woods, he learns that things were maybe not what he'd thought way back when. And that maybe you really can go home again.

dive deep and swim far (the north shore remix) (http://users.livejournal.com/__tiana__/133624.html) (J2; R; ~6,400 words) by [livejournal.com profile] __tiana__
Summer lovin’, it happened so fast. (Or not.) Jared’s a swimmer and a surfer, Jensen’s a bartender and an incorrigible playboy. The North Shore of Kauai is the setting where they meet, and set a bumpy course to love.

This is you, according to me (http://mediaville.livejournal.com/73036.html) (J2, Jared/Jensen/OFC; NC-17; ~4,800 words) by [livejournal.com profile] mediaville [frankly I recommend all of [livejournal.com profile] mediaville's stuff - she does the absolute loveliest sexual tension].
In which Jared comes to learn that Jensen really has no clue.

I've read the second and the third fairly recently, but not the other two and they sound really good. Thank you!
