This was a Sam/Dean where they were unrelated, not supernatural type of story. Dean was very 'damaged' (abusive relationships, drug taking, drinking, attempted suicide and so forth)and I'm pretty sure he had this unhealthy relationship with John.

There were 2 stories I think, the first where they meet (Dean was a stripper/hooker) and the second where Sam takes Dean home with him to his family - there were attempts to get Dean to seek professional help.

I'm pretty sure it was Sam/Dean and I didn't recognise it as any of the other requested fics. It was one of her older fics - posted over at FFNT as 'rose of no man's land' first and later added onto lj.
