3 types of Dean Fics...  
I'm looking for Three types of fics. Please Complete Slash or Gen fics only.

1. Fics where detective/cop/FBI agent/etc digs into Dean's mind and try to figgure out Dean's criminal record. Be it AU, Crossover, OC, etc. I've read and enjoyed quite a few and is desperate for more of law enforcment trying to understand the Winchester boys.
Defect & Hell and Back (sequel) GEN Criminal Minds Crossover. I really liked how even though the CM crew know he's been charged with a bunch of crimes, he still charms them.
All The King's Horses & As You Are Now (sequel WIP) GEN Criminal Mind Crossover. I really liked this one too. Especially how even after all he's gone through, Dean's still Dean.
Take a Long Line Numb3rs x-over. LOVE this one! How at the end Numb3rs crew was left whirling at the trust Sam and Dean had.
Oneiroi and Hephaestus CM x-over Slash. This fic was okay, I prefer them more fleshed out.
This Bitter Earth  another really good CM-xover that was about a plantation haunting. It was really good but I can't remember the title or the link. --TY Miki_Moo for the link!!!
Eat It Twilight CM x-over. Vampire hunting. This was a bit difficult for me to read because it jumped around so much I was confused about when what happened. I've lost link to this one too.
Somewhere between Perception and Reality Numb3rs x-over. This one was quite interesting too.

2. Fics where there's some type of mentor for Dean. There was a MacGuyver fic where Mac helps Dean build a present for Sam. Also Conversations where a college professor helps him out and the conversations they have. There's this other fic where Dean's English teacher does volunteering at the hospital and when Dean was in the hospital b/c of a car accident, she came and read to him.

3. Fics where Sam and Dean run into Sam's college buddies who don't like/dismiss dean.
In Reverse Where Sam and Dean happen to be at same place as a few of Sam's friends. One of them really jealous of Dean. Also the place has a bit of a history for Dean too.

Please, provide a short summary when you post a link? I like to know what it is I'm getting into. The longer the fics the better! because I love deep detailed fics!! Or if you've got any Dean-centric fics.... ?

Not your fault! I think the author must have written the story over the course of time and just kept incorporating canon without amending the original author's note.

First, I gotta say I like your style ;)
Second, do you have to be familiar with criminal minds in order to understand the fics you mentioned here?

And third, as for SamnDean running into Sam's college buddies, there's also the Beer!verse, by Emma15.
It's a Stanford era 'verse (AU of course), where Dean got to meet Jess and Sam's friends, and even got the chance to be at their wedding.
Obviously, the first time Dean meets everyone, things don't go so well...

so fast! *giggles* um..... I didn't have much of understanding of Criminal Minds when I read the plantation fic.... but it went okay. I suggest you read up on the characters a bit before hopping in just to be safe. Some of the interactions in Defect makes more sense if you've got a feel of the characters. (LOL I watched CM because of the plantation fic :p and it's quite an interesting series and very likeable characters!)^^ *holds a bit of a flame for Morgan and Reid* ;p

The Winchester boys are used to just cranking out fake IDs and getting access to anything they need when they’re hunting something. They’ve rarely come across anybody in law enforcement who’s truly competent. It really, really sucks when they do.

Takes place shortly after Faith. This is my own summary, sorry. Haven't read the whole thing, but I hope you will like it.
