I've been trying to find this story I read about 2 years ago and it's bothering me so much that I can remember it, I thought I saved it, but...anyways I new you guys and girls could handle it because you are all amazing. So here goes...

In the story I believe John had sold Sam or bet Sam in a game of cards after Dean joined the military. Somehow Sam ended up HIV positive and found his way to Dean. I also remember Dean had a lot of military buddies that treated Sam like a little brother. Sam also had visions in this fic. Oh and Dean built him a room in his home. Sam was also friends with a girl with cancer. The girl was the daughter of Dean's superior.

It was a really great story, and I would love to read it again, so please help!!!!
