I need some help here. My dog passed away in July, and I am a long way from getting over the heartbreak. I need fic to commiserate with. I remember reading one a million years ago, where Dean adopts a weiner dog that ends up being bad ass? I think the dog was about to be put down because it was suspected she had eaten (?) her owner.

Anything that shows that amazing bond people can have with canines (and even the devestation that happens when the dog's no longer around).
