Try these. I’m not bringing Castiel either but I did choose carefully with straight men in mind!

Chimera (http://innie-darling.livejournal.com/30822.html) by [livejournal.com profile] innie_darling
Summary: "A mad scientist decides he wants to create the perfect hunter...and he thinks he's found the perfect brain...Dean's. one shot pre-series with high school Dean R
**Deliciously creepy!

Like a Pig Eating Donuts (http://community.livejournal.com/pixietales/24804.html) by [livejournal.com profile] wenchpixie
Summary: Summary: Dean, Sam and a little bit of Bobby (also a pig, a kid, candy, Dean being nearly as awesome as he thinks he is and Sam being made to do something that makes him feel nauseous in between not letting Dean use the laptop). ~10,500 PG-13
******Wee de-aged Bobby! Sam and Dean in charge of child care! This is a great combination of fun and touching.

Rumspringa (http://july-july-july.livejournal.com/34916.html) by [livejournal.com profile] july_july_july
Summary: I don’t know if you notice anything missing, like the leaves on the trees or my clothes all over the floor. I don’t know if you even notice at all. Cause I was real quiet when I closed the door. –Fink, “This Is The Thing”
**Sixteen year old Dean walks out and is on his own for a couple of months.

Dimentions and Verticals (http://bellatemple.livejournal.com/249342.html) by [livejournal.com profile] bellatemple
Summary: Sam accidentally gets Dean out of Hell. The results are something no one could have expected. . . .
***Not only delightful crack but it’s illustrated!

Ten Going on Thirteen (http://dodger-winslow.livejournal.com/38463.html) by [livejournal.com profile] dodger_winslow
Summary: For a ten year old, Dean really had the pain-in-the-ass part of being mature for his age down pat.
**While it’s not the most believable scenario, John is shot and Dean acts to save his life. The characterizations are stellar and the tension high.

Summer Camp (http://gigglingkat.livejournal.com/152650.html) by [livejournal.com profile] gigglingkat
Summary: "I sent his brother to summer camp," he explained.
"You heartless bastard," laughed the manager.
"That seems to be the general consensus," John agreed. ~5,500 G
**Delightful crack! When 7 year old Dean goes to camp, neither the camp nor the councilor are ever the same again!

Never Summer (http://ignipes.livejournal.com/82858.html) by [livejournal.com profile] ignipes
Summary: A call from one of Sam's college friends brings the boys to a remote Colorado hotel in the midst of a blizzard to investigate a death and a haunting. Novel length R
***Very in keeping with the style of the show. The relationship between the brothers and the amount of involvement with the original characters as well as the pace is spot on and realistic or at least as real as the series......

Red (http://big-pink.livejournal.com/16952.html) by [livejournal.com profile] big_pink
Summary: Something evil is killing treeplanters in the forests of the Pacific Northwest, possibly the same predator that Dean narrowly escaped years before. How Grimm will things get before the brothers figure it out? ~79,000 PG-13
**Very absorbing and creepy but you have to be on your toes with the changes back and forth from 3 time frames. An especially satisfying ending.
