I hit the tags and a couple of themed sites, but I'm not seeing this one.

They story was a J2 au, with a bunch of the CW cast, I think, where Jared is a young guy that just got out of Jail. His money runs out on a bus line in a middle-of-nowhere town and he uses the very last of it to call his parole officer. rules are, he's gotta have a place to live and a job in, like, a day. meets ex-marine (or something) Jensen and his fellow veterans (think Chris was there) and they run a garage. Jensen gives Jared a job and lets him live with him...

It goes on from there, I remember most of it, just can't find it for some reason. The scene that I remember most is where Jared turns down an invite for dinner because he can't pay yet and his pride won't let him say as much and jen catches him a bit later going through a dumpster because he is just. that. hungry.

Sound familiar to anybody? I think it was fairly long, too.
