-- This is like the Queen of all Non-AU tales. It's about something horrible happening to Jensen and the ramifications of that event. Very loving. Very emotional. Ultimately highly satisfying.

I adore that fic SO VERY MUCH. I've read it and re-read it so many times. It's got a permanent place in my files :) Thanks for reccing it. I may have to break it out again tonight!

I'm glad you will reread. I've read it many times myself. It's my go-to to feel better.

As an aside, if a self rec is okay ... my story When Your Lover Breaks (http://sandymg.livejournal.com/28753.html) is also J2 non-AU and set during the filming of Season 4. I was totally inspired by Just One Breath and this was my first RPS. I even got editorial advice from the JOB author (who is just lovely and friendly and helpful).

We have very similar tastes it seems ;) I just had that one on the PDF reader last night. Since I have not made my LoC rounds yet, let me say it here:

This story is so good and I loved the reintegration of Jensen's personality coming to terms with this reality, coupled with Jared's constant desire to be there for him even when it's very, very difficult. You did a wonderful job with this!

Oh, now you made my evening. So glad that you enjoyed it. As I said, it was my first RPS. My first slash ever to tell the truth. So it's special to me. I have a few one-off non-AUs on my Journal but nothing else as long. I have a bunch of long J2 AU stories though, if you feel like one of those. All my stories are intended to leave a reader feeling good. I write what I like. :D

Hey there, My RPS stuff (http://callistosh65.livejournal.com/135409.html#cutid4) is all non au, set during filming, and mostly established relationship. But not really set 'on set' as it were (except Eucalyptus Kisses, which takes place on the set of On the Head of a Pin).

So in short, I have no idea if they may be what you are looking for or not!

I hope you get a lot of links as answers, K, as I too am just in the mood to read these kind of stories:-))
