searching for a lost fic and recs for super!Sam

So a while back I read this long fic that involved Sam and Dean coming to a town that was getting rained on like whoa. There were visions, a scary old lady, near drownings and a church... Umm not much to go on I know, but that's all I can remember... If anyone knows what it is, that would be great!

Also, I'm a big fan of Sam with powers fics, so if you know any good ones, that would be awesomeness.

kroki_refur's great series beginning with 'Sensory Deprivation': http://kroki-refur.livejournal.com/50868.html. The Sam-with-powers thing really kicks in during the sequel, 'Tired & Emotional', but the whole thing is fantastic.
