specific J2 story  
I read this story several months ago and forgot to bookmark it. Jensen is blind after an accident (that killed his boyfriend) and lives in apartment with Chris/Steve. Jared moves in the same building and they met. Last that I remember, they fight for some reason, Jensen run out of apartment and hit by a truck.
Hope you can help me.

Or maybe Jensen was deaf... my stupid, stupid short memory

I think the story you mentioned may be 'now I see the world through diamond eyes' by the_sammykinz? I've tried to find the link but couldn't. Sorry.

And, funny thing is, they also live in the same crazy apartment complex. Yeah, “star-crossed lovers” doesn’t even begin to cover it.
