There are two fics I read ages ago that I would love to read again but I have searched my own bookmarks, as well as tags here, with no luck. I'm hoping someone has a better memory than I do and recognizes either fic.


1) The first fic is from Sam's pov. In it, he still leaves for Stanford, but while away at school he misses Dean immensely. As a result, I believe, he may have tried to commit suicide (this is either implied or unclear in the fic) and is compelled to attend weekly(?) meetings with a psychiatrist. He talks about his relationship with Dean, there may be flashbacks, I'm not sure, but as Sam tells his story, the psychiatrist becomes sympathetic to the boys relationship (or something along those lines). The one thing I do remember is that someone (perhaps the author?) made a manip of what the psychiatrist would look like and I believe it was posted near the end of the fic.and for some reason, I keep thinking it was Signourney Weaver:[ Found! in comments

2) In the second fic, both Sam and Dean end up in a psychiatric hospital after the djinn from 2.20 (What Is and What Should Never Be) touches them as he is dying and as a sort of revenge, he "wipes" their memories. I believe Dean begins to remember first but it takes Sam longer, so he hangs in while plotting a way out for both of them. It's also a long fic, and may not have been posted on lj.
