Okay, so I went through my bookmarks; here are three fics that jumped out at me. I tried to give you some variance, so not all are angst.

Title: This Thing Called Free Will

Summary: Time is fluid, and Castiel can see how it will go because he can bend it on occasion.

The summary doesn't really give you a good idea of what it's about, but basically it made me cry when I first read it. It's a depressingly gorgeous take on Dean and Cas' relationship, from Cas' POV billions of years later in the future.

Title: Right of Conquest

Summary: Lucifer takes a personal interest in Castiel, Dean takes a very personal interest in Castiel, Castiel feels his faith wavering, and a white horse waits to run. Dean/Castiel, hints of Castiel/Lucifer.

This has some mythological aspects to it regarding the Horsemen, and it is really well written. Fairly long.

Summary: Written for this prompt by deceptivechasm on simon_says_dean: Something very traumatic happens to Dean while he's with Sam (or Sam was away) which causes him to stop talking, *again*. Sam didn't know about the first time, and has to ask Bobby (or John) about what happened after his mum died. She originally requested Gen or Wincest but okayed my going with Dean/Cas instead.
