So I can't remember the name or author of this fic to save my life and I have spent hours trying to find it.
I can however, remember the basic plot.
Sam wakes up in a field in the middle of nowhere with a newly human Castiel and Gabriel. They end  up heading back to bobby's, not really knowing what else to do.
Dean is still living with lisa, well Sam thinks he is. Turns out dean wasn't cut out of the apple pie life and he left, to work on bobby's scrap yard.
I remember Sam having to teach Castiel and Gabriel how to defend themselves/fight as years of being angels have left the vessels unfit and not very strong.
There was also a scene where in Sam has told Castiel and Gabriel he is not going to contact Dean, leaving him to live happily with Lisa, but Castiel misses him so much he nearly rings him, Castiel at this time is trying to find something to replace the emptiness his missing grace left him with and Sam warns Gabriel about giving him pills as he knows about Future!cas.
I think Sam and Gabriel end up getting together in the end and so do Dean And Castiel, but the author might just hint at the possiblity.

The fic is about four chapters long.
