Hello! So, I've been looking for a fic that I read a while back and would really love to read again. I just can't seem to find it and I've searched around a bit. Here's what I remember from it:

• Castiel falls and is always in constant pain because of the absence of his wings. He has to live with it every day of his life now with Dean (and I'm pretty sure Sam was there too.)
• During that time, Dean and Castiel do get together.
• They go searching for Castiel's Grace and find it in a body of water of some sorts. However, Castiel refuses to take it back because it means that he'd have to give up being with Dean. He would rather live the rest of his human life in pain and with Dean than go back to being an angel and lose Dean.
• Zachariah shows up and offers Castiel a place back in the Host. He shows Dean all the pain Castiel has been in by making him feel what Castiel has felt. Dean had no idea that the pain was so bad because Castiel masked the severity of it. Dean then tried to make Castiel take back his Grace because he can't stand the thought of Castiel being in constant pain. Castiel refuses.
• Zachariah takes Castiel's refusal as a "love trumps all" thing. Castiel no longer feels the pain of not having his wings. He said that since Castiel stayed loyal to Dean, he was rewarded for it.

And that's about all I can remember. Also, I'm pretty sure it was rated NC17
