Hi everyone,

I’m looking for an ultra-specific type of fanfic, and I’m not entirely sure where to look for recs. I’ll just put it in list form to make things really simple considering the nature of the complex request. Thank you for bearing with me. :)


• Epics would be great. Not too short, not too long. Just right. :)
• If there’s romance, I prefer Dean/Cas, Sam/Cas (UST, first-time realism, and coming-out anxiety are all okay).
• Open to most beloved characters being stars, but Sam, Dean, and/or Cas must be at least one of them.
• Angst, drama, and humor are all great, but blending the three? Amazing. :)
• I’m getting old. Anything aimed at a younger audience is not for me.
• The more canon compliant, the better. Please, no stories taking place within canon alternate universes (S5’s Croatoan future, Smith/Wesson, French Mistake).
• Realism over fantasy preferred.
• Themes of independence, strength, family, and friendship are definitely great.

• No RPF, kinks (especially violent/gorey/gooey/consent-issue/slave kinks), PWP, “erotic co-dependence” as a means of character growth, Wincest, established relationships, Scripture-heavy fics, or hand-print fics, please.

I am completely caught up on the series, so spoilers are totally okay.
