Hello, I'm looking for a story where Sam leaves the hotel room one morning and just disappears.  I can't for the life of me remember the title/author and I know I will kick myself once someone (hopefully) tells me what it is.  It's a really famous story and very sad.  Any help would be much appreciated.

Also while I'm here there was a wip a while back that was J2, Jared was a bodyguard for a little boy and Jensen was the captain of a flying ship.  Jensen's crew included Chris and Steve and Chris didn't speak, Steve would kiss him and take his words that way (or it may have been vise versa).
