Random general fics

Sorry I have so much. I've been saving up for one post, instead of a bunch of them.

1) Any stories with human!Impala, but where its a guy instead of a girl?

2) Fics where Sam and Dean are protective of Adam

3) Similarly, fics that deal with Adam still being in hell and Sam and Dean haven't completely forgotten about him. (preferably one where Adam eventually gets out of the pit)

4) Any stories with a protective!John. (I'm a huge fan of good-dad!John stories)

5) Anything where one character had a permanent medical problem. It could be an injury, illness, or anything. But no death-fics pretty please

6) And finally, any fics where the boys are older and the beatings they took as youngsters is screwing up their old bodies. Can be a domestic!fic or not.

I'm fine with gen or slash for any of these (any pairing)

Glad you enjoyed! I can't remember the comment meme. I'm so bad about stuff like that -I'm terrible about putting in links when I should. If I do remember I will let you know. Just to let you know...I write gen but usually there is quite a bit of reference to John if not about him. Sometimes he is in a better light, other times he is a bit harsher. But John was an intriguing character with so many issues and faults and yeah, some good stuff too. Feel free to browse my LJ if you are in the mood for teen!chesters and/or John.

Yeah, I've always been a big fan of John. I wish more fans saw him as a better father than they do, but I guess its just their opinion.

This is a 'verse that started out as a single comment-fic, prompted by [info]roque_clasique at a Dean-focused h/c comment-fic meme over at [info]hoodie_time. The original prompt is here, and went thusly: Dean fucks up his knee one too many times and either has to amputate or fuse it, so he chooses to have it fused. So the prompt kind of grew in my head, and turned into a Sam-comes-back-from-hell story, and then it kind of became a curtain!fic, and then it became a 'verse. Each story can mostly stand alone, although it helps if you read the first one, so you know the basic premise.

And then here's my doctors/injury tag on diigo. I have rather odd ways of tagging things that mean something only to myself, but there might be some more there (being deaf/blind/dumb for example). If you snoop around, there should be some Adam stories too (w_adam) but maybe not in the way you're looking for.

Same here, I'm a die-hard Sam girl.

The only time in the entire show I didn't love Sam was when he was souless. Other than that I have nothing but love for that guy~

Ah, I did like him when he was soulless, if only because he got to be funny and unconflicted - not saying he was better, but... I don't know, he was more direct. I liked that. However, currently my love for Sam has never been greater. Season 7 Sam is the Sam I've always wanted. Not the crazy-Lucifer-visions, but the fact that he finally seems comfortable with himself.

Oh man, even though he did make me laugh Souless!Sam was a deal breaker for me. Those episode were the only time I was ever a Dean-girl.

I was even on Sam's side all throughout the whole demon blood ordeal, but souless just didn't work for me. Season 7 Sam is awesome, I'm falling for him all over again. And I'm half-ashamed to admit that I love his hallucinations too. Poor Sam~

I've always been more of a Dean fan, but this season Sam has stolen my heart. I can't really choose one over the other, though; they work best when they are together and on the same page. I hate it when they're fighting each other.

Indeed~

Its not always easy for me to find stories where John isn't a complete jerk. I never thought of him as a bad father, even in the show so its strange to me that so many fans think of him like that.

Er, I wouldn't say that was a good-dad!John story, but still an interesting read.

To tell you the truth I forgot why I was reading it halfway through and just focused on the story, haha
