Hello all! Wow, it's been a long time since I've posted a request, so here goes:

I'm hoping that y'all can recommend fic that has a good look at the differences between Jimmy Novak and Castiel, recognizing that Jimmy is human and Castiel is an angel and they are two completely different people who happen to be inhabiting the same body.

This could be done in lots of ways:
-Jimmy's friends and family seeing and reacting to Castiel, thinking at first that he's Jimmy, or Amelia and Claire's reactions to when Jimmy starts hearing Castiel or is possessed(?) by Castiel
-Dean/Sam noticing differences between the human and angel, or teaching Castiel how to look after his vessel, or asking Jimmy about being a vessel
-Castiel visiting Amelia and Claire to check up on them for Jimmy
-Jimmy talking to Castiel while being his vessel
-Castiel being in a different vessel and comparing the other vessel to Jimmy

And anything else you can think of. I would even love to read jossed stories that explore the background of Castiel's vessel before Jimmy was revealed in canon - waldorph's "When The Angels Came Down" springs to mind.

Any pairing or gen, any rating, any length, and self-recs are all welcome!

If you are super-wonderful, you might help me find a particular story that got me thinking about this. All I remember is one line: Castiel is with Dean in someplace very cold, I think there was snow, and Castiel doesn't really think about it, but Dean sees that his body (Jimmy) is turning blue or shivering or something. Dean says something like "have you noticed how cold your guy is?" and makes Castiel warm up.
