Asexual!character or character with unusual fetish/comforts?
1. Can you guys rec me stories where one of the characters has a weird fetish/comfort/etc? Like, in one fic I read (Suite 'Verse) Sam used to hold Dean's peen in his hand when they were sleeping, and in another Jensen had a thing for heartbeats (it comforted him). Can be anything, really.

Can be Sam&Dean!Gen or pretty much any slash pairing, though I'm partial to Wincest, Destiel, Sabriel, Debriel, J2, and Jen/Misha. I'm up for anything, though.

2. I'd like to read a fic where one of the characters is asexual. Slash only for this request, please. :)

Re: #2
I've only come across a handful of really well-written and seemingly realistic fic that features an asexual person in a relationship with a non-asexual person, though unfortunately not in this fandom. Yet.

Anyways, thanks so much for these recs! I can't wait to read them!

Also, this: ...On another note, seeing 'asexual' under the kink tag is possibly one of the most surreal things I've ever seen in my life.

Yeah, I have to agree. That's kind of bizarre. D= I'm not asexual myself, but I always figured asexuality was more of an orientation (correct me if I'm wrong) than something one chose to be. Sort of like homo/bi/heterosexuality. In my mind, categorizing asexuality as a kink would be like categorizing, for example, homosexuality as a kink... and that's not really appropriate.

Anyways-- thanks again.

Re: #2
Yeah, it's such a shame. Especially since there's so much with Castiel's character in particular that indicates that. The author of planets said that she plans on writing more ace!Cas in the future, so there is hope. And if I can ever, ever get back in my writing groove (I don't have much of one to begin with) then I might as well. My headcanon with Cas is that he is probably demisexual. The two others I put in are... sort of more questionable. Although asexual-sexual relationships with sex do happen; the way it plays out is still from such a sexualized perspective they didn't read as totally accurate to me. But I hope you enjoy at least the first one! And I hope that there are more out there in the future for us all to read.

Yeah, asexuality is an orientation, although there are also romantic orientations within asexuality, gray-asexuality, and demisexuality. I know it's not widely-known-of and thus easily misinterpreted; there's a great article on asexuality from the sexual person's perspective here (http://www.asexuality.org/home/node/21) on AVEN if you're curious. So when I saw it under kink I was thoroughly confused. Like, wait... my orientation is now somehow being eroticized? WHAT? I think I'm going to contact the admins and ask them to rename the tag... There aren't any orientation tags, but they have het and slash in the genre section, so it should go with them.
