I love protective!Dean over his Sammy. I've loved the many times they've shown it in cannon and I love it in fic as well. So anything that involves Dean being a BAMF and protective over Sammy? No underage/pre-series please. It's even more fun when Sam is as big as he is and completely capable of taking care of himself but Dean still runs to his rescue and Sam lets him. There's just something so fucking sexy about Dean taking care of his overgrown baby brother and Sam letting Dean protect him. 

Would also love some Folsom Prison Blues fic with the way they show it in cannon - meaning Dean watching over Sam, assuring him, "Don't worry Sam, I promise I won't trade you for smokes." and Sam coming to Dean to tell him that his roommate "just keeps staring at me... in a way that makes me really uneasy." And then that scene where Sam bumps into one of the guys and Sam says sorry but the guy still comes at him and Dean stands up in front of Sam and says, "He said he was sorry." So anything where Dean's doing the protecting and Sam trying to calm him down or letting him do his thing - like in cannon. -- I don't want a Sam who can't take defend himself, though. So please nobody raping Sam. I don't mind if they try, but if Sam's alone, please let Sam take care of himself. I just like Sam letting Dean stand up for him when Dean is there. But Sam is more than capable of standing for both himself and Dean.
