Okay, here's the deal: I've read a few fics where for whatever contrived reason Dean ends up raising Ben because it turns out they're father and son; but in every fic that I recall Dean's reaction is, "Oh no, I have a kid now; I better settle down and do . . . something that's not what I've been doing since I was six years old."

So! Are there any fics where Dean ends up with Ben and proceeds to practice fatherhood a la John Winchester? I'm not saying he has to be a hard ass or a bad father because, personally, I don't think John was, even though horrible-father!John seems to be fanon.

I'm looking for fic where Dean was raised, is, and always will be a hunter and so Dean + Ben = teaching his son to shoot; Ben learning basic lore; Ben can pick a lock in 20 seconds flat and his dad is just so damn proud!

I don't care about when it takes place, who else is in it, or anything beyond what I've stated really. Any other details are fair game. Self-rec by all means.
