I read this story once, and must not have meme'd it, (dummy) so, it was something along the lines of, Cas has to go in front of the Angelic Mating council, or something of that effect, and if he hasn't taken a mate, they will pick and force one for him. He has not ever taken a mate, and has avoided the ritual several times. apparently Uriel has interest and is the likely partner they will pair him with. Cas does NOT want this, so he gets Dean to say he is or will be his mate. At first it is all about Dean just wanting to be there for Cas, and he is pissed that Cas would be forced to do anything he didn't want to do. There is alot of great humor in this one, I remember Dean commenting that the marriage ceremony is a horrible shotgun affair. In the end, Dean realizes he has loved Cas all along and wants the marriage and bond for real. Anyone know what I mean? Any help is appreciated :-)
