Hello all and happy holidays! I am going home soon and the flight is long so I am looking for a fic to read for the flight. It's an older fic and you have all been so helpful I will give it a try. I don't remember much so here goes.

I think this fic was on ff.net but I an unsure,it was a WIP when I started it, think it's finished now. Dean was a shapeshifter (dog?) and after Sam is born John worries. I think Mary is alive and as the boys get a bit older something happens. John throws Dean out and he lives on the streets for a while. Cas and angel co (gab, michael, bal, raphael) are humans/on earth (not angels?) Cas is a shifter too/a dog and his family doesn't like him so he is on the street and meets Dean. They get an apartment together but are just friends, Dean spends most of his time as a dog not trusting people. Sam finds out about Dean and goes looking for him and meets Cas. Cas takes Sam to see Dean and Sam wants a relationship/brother, but Dean is reluctant. That is all I remember/as far as I got.

Please help me find them so I can finish it. All suggestions are welcome and a very big virtual hug to anyone who helps. Many many thanks in advance!
