I swear I know this one, but I can't find it. Here's what I remember . . .

Jensen lives above Chris and Steve's bar, but he isn't really employed there, he just helps out once in a while. He is actually a dr. (I think), but is currently on leave following a traumatic experience of some sort. Jared and he become friends first and do flirt quite a bit. Chris, of course, gives Jared the standard, you-hurt-him-I-hurt-you speech. Jared is upfront about his date (who I thought was with Sandy, but I could be wrong). She is dating him because she thinks he is a heck of a catch. The night that he borrows Jensen's car (which I thought was a BMW/Audi/Lexus and is kept behind the bar under a tarp, but again I could be wrong), he and his date show up to the bar and she has a bunch of her girlfriends there and they are really catty and Jared is pretty turned off about her and spends most of the night watching Jensen at the bar. It is after this when they hook-up. There is a bit of angsty time, but in the end Jared talks Jensen into returning to work at the hospital and they end up together.

Does that seem right to you? I could be mixing two different stories.If it is right, maybe a little more info will help your search out. I'm still hunting, so hopefully one of us or some other amazing fandom friend can find it for you.
