J2 comedy/romantic comedy
Snowbound today and looking for non-depressing J2 fics that are comedy or romantic comedy, I'd also like them to have other CW people as characters and preferably at least a few chapters long. If au, I'd like the characters to have typical 20-something/30-something jobs (or unemployed - I guess I'm looking for somewhat real-world, non-fantasy situations and older than high school/college).

Thanks very much!

Hmmm, I think you'd like
With Abandon or not at all (http://bewaretheides15.livejournal.com/51598.html): Jensen's life was complicated enough when his biggest worry was what crazy color his best friend/roommate/ex-boyfriend/co-executive chef, Jared, was going to dye his hair this week. Then his dreams came true and, somehow, his life started falling apart. Now he's got an insane client to please, a career-making meal to cook, a hodge-podge kitchen staff to corral, embarrassing, half-naked pictures plastered all over the internet and maybe, somewhere in there, a love of his life to win back.

It's absolutely wonderful. A feeling of rightness in their relationship, a haggard Jensen, a happy Jared, nice people and sure, some angst, but in the end, just perfect.

And as for romantic comedy, I'd love to send you to Mr. Ackles' Flower Shop for Unusual, Extraordinary, and Peculiar Plants (http://archiveofourown.org/works/463665/), BUT it certainly isn't meeting your criteria for "normal job" ;-)
Still, maybe you'll like it anyway: Twisting hazel, wailing carnations, camouflage trilliums, skittering vines - to Jensen, sequestered in his flower shop, his plants are his best friends and constant companions. They see him through his tentative friendships with his customers, rival flower shop owner Mark's attempts to sabotage him, and even his hopeless crush on local university student Jared who comes in every couple of days to buy flowers for his girl.

But even they can't help him when Jensen has to use the plant that killed his mother to catch Mark in the act - no, that responsibility falls solely to Jared.

Here is a collection of romantic Harlequin-esque stories written for the Meant to Be Challenge. I believe there were at least two years of challenges issued from this community.whose slogan is: Let's give our boys a happy ending and prove that their love is meant to be!

Maybe you'll find something you like!

Hearthstone (http://mollyamory.livejournal.com/40920.html) by [livejournal.com profile] mollyamory. Author's Summary:
Jensen lives alone in the small town where he grew up, dividing his time between the bookstore he runs (with no customers), the bar he half-owns (but doesn't run) and the big, expensive dream house (that he bought with money he doesn't know what to do with). He lives quietly at the edge of the circle of friends he went to school with, and avoids everybody else -- until the new guy in town crashes a bike in front of Jensen's store and wedges himself into Jensen's world.

There is a sad/angsty element in there, but it all comes happy in the end :)

I haven't read that, thanks for the suggestion!
