Destiel, Historical America 1900-1970s
Hello,
I'm feeling like some classic American Destiel fics, prefer 1920s-50s but anything around that would be fine :) two fics I have been unable to find are one prohibition-era where half of Castiel's face is damaged from the War and with Dean gets involved in bootlegging. Another one I'm missing is where Castiel and Sam are actors in the 20/30s I think and Dean is a janitor in hollywood. Cas falls in love with Dean and invites him to his mansion and Sam gets involved with gangsters or something. Any historical fics like these would be much appreciated.

I have heard of the second story....I believe it was a big bang story either 2012 or 2011. I wish I could remember the name.

Story #2 is Moonshine Lullaby (http://archiveofourown.org/works/391405). I think I remember reading something similar to #1 a while ago -- I'm pretty sure it was based on Boardwalk Empire, actually, with the whole Cas-with-a-damaged-face thing, but I don't have a title or link.

Twist and Shout (http://discover.livejournal.com/8648.html) starts off in 1965, but be warned that it's the actual saddest thing you'll probably ever read, so if you can't deal with that, you might want to stay away. Definitely check the warnings first.

I believe the first one may be To the Lost (http://janie-tangerine.livejournal.com/373391.html) by janie_tangerine

Word Count: 12800 ca
Summary: 1921: Dean Winchester and Castiel Milton are two WWI veterans meeting by chance at a hospital. Dean, works for an alcohol smuggler for whom he does small/dirty business. After Castiel helps Dean with his current assignment, he ends up working alongside him for good. Neither of them is completely fine with it but when the only thing you're trained to do is kill people, there's not much of a choice.
