I'm looking for a story I read a while ago. I think it was sort of a retelling pre-series where Dean was occasionally mute. I think he used "the silence" to protect himself. And when he was in hell Alastair couldn't get him to break before Castiel rescued him.

Also if anyone know any other stories where Dean got out of Hell unbroken, please send me the link. Or any story where Dean get's himself out of hell, without becoming a demon.
