HI!

I am looking for a specific story. I have looked on J2 Recs and also on all the royal tags on storyfinders. I have yet to find it. The problem is I can not remember the name or the author. I do believe it has Consort in the title but I'm not really sure. It has been over a year or more since I have read it. Here is some of what I remember of the story.

-King Alan is crazy, mean king. He orders Jensen to be married to Prince Jared. What he doesn't know nor does Jared is that King Alan married Jensen to the highest bidder.
-Prince Jared met or saw Jensen at a ball or something. He decides he is who he wants to marry so he asks his father King Gerald to send a request for Jensen hand. King Gerald is willing to met any demands as long as his son his happy, but he doesn't know what King Alan is doing.
-Jared takes his time and shows Jensen he is not going to hurt him or mistreat him. Jensen realizes that King Gerald and Prince Jared are nothing like his father.
-King Gerald discovers what King Alan did and confronts him. Jensen chooses King Gerald and Jared over his father. King Alan becomes angry and orders them out of the kingdom with threats of having them killed on site if the step in his kingdom again.
-Jensen receive a letter from his brother or mother about King Alan, I think the kingdom is starving or something not really sure. Jensen sneaks back into the kingdom and confronts his father, they fight and Jensen kills him. His brother becomes king.
-Jensen is kidnapped by another king or lord who bid for his hand. Jared rescues Jensen and the other kingdom by killing the evil lord or king.
-It had a sequel

That is most of what I remember about the story. I really hope this is enough, that someone will recongnize it. Thanks for all your help.
