I read a fic on fanfic.net that was set in season 5 and I'm pretty sure had about ten chapters. Sam started taking sleeping pills so he wouldn't say yes to Lucifer in his dreams, but Dean found out and got mad that Sam thought he deserved to have a good night's sleep after he started the apocalypse, so Sam got rid of them.
