LF recs - Sam/Dean with protective!Dean  
Hi all,

I'm looking for recs of a particular kind. I'd like Sam/Dean - but that starts out just Sam being in love with Dean, Dean knowing that Sam's in love with him, and being protective of his (Sam's) feelings but not reciprocating them until later in the story - just taking care not to hurt him. Any length, age, etc, is fine.

-While on a case, Sam and Dean are given a vision of the future - a future in which they've stopped the apocalypse and are now, apparently, involved. Dean's convinced that it's another trick and insists that they forget it, but Sam can't let it - any of it - go.

(This is a story where Sam's feelings for Dean become known shortly after they encounter the tree spirit and it is also around the time where Lucifer is still invading his dreams, coming to him in the form of Dean. It does feature a protective!Dean so here you go!)
