Hi Again. Boys Aren't Brothers.

Really all I want are stories where Sam and Dean aren't brothers. No relation at all. One can be a monster, or abused, or they meet on the same hunt, Smith, Wesson, any other name, etc., etc.

I just really want alternate universes like that, please. I will take anything and everything BUT NO MPREG!
Seriously no mpreg please. I'm not a big fan of that (no offense). I will take it where they adopted a kid or had a previous wife or what not.

One of the best Sam and Dean are not related is A Monster By Any Other Name (http://archiveofourown.org/series/5884) by Brosedshield and LaviniaLavender. No mpreg. It is very, very dark and very long and still a WIP. They are good about updating and the story is really compelling and well written.

Second this rec for MONSTER BY ANY OTHER NAME - my very favorite. Except I keep thinking that they may find out, in the end, that they are brothers after all. (This is not a spoiler, just an opinion - there's no indication in the Story So Far that this might happen.)
