Brain Tumor?

I was just re-watching Wire in the Blood and the main character learns he has a tumor. When his doctor tells him of the symptoms if they don't remove it, well, it made me think of the boys.

Does anyone know of a story with either of them having to deal with something like this? I've come across a number of physical traumas/illness/injury stories but nothing regarding the brain.

I prefer no wincest or slash and no death-fic unless it's well done (No Line on the Horizon comes to mind)

There's We'll Be Okay (http://archiveofourown.org/works/864357/chapters/1657788) over on AO3.

It's unrelated Sam/Dean that starts with the pair meeting in hospital - Sam has HIV/AIDS while Dean has a brain tumour - with a bunch of the other SPN cast playing family members.

It is a death!fic, but it's a good one - definitely one of the better ones I've read!

Edit: I've just flicked back through it and it isn't exactly a brain tumour, it's on his spinal cord, but you do get sorta-brain injury stuff...

Are you familiar with metholpixie? She writes engaging stories, and most of them are gen. She has a cancer tag, but I don't know if any are specific to brain tumors. Her master list and cancer tag are below.
