Dean goes to college  
Hi, I was wondering if there are any fics where Dean goes to college instead of Sam, leaving him with John. I don't care what happens next, I just need some fics with Dean leaving Sammy.

I've got one for you where Dean joins the military? Not college exactly, but Sam is left with John for awhile. Fair warning: it gets pretty dark.

This one isn't exactly what you're looking for either but it does have Dean leaving Sam. This is also one where he enlists in the military and involves a bit of Sam/Dean, mostly towards the end if I remember correctly.
