Hi guys! I know this is a long shot and it's extremely unlikely that anyone will know the fic I'm looking for because I honestly don't remember much about it. It's several years old....maybe like 5 years or so? It was a WIP that I had bookmarked on my old pc before it crashed and burned and was wondering if it was ever finished. Basically I mostly remember the last scene where Dean was alone (I believe on a cliff but could have been in a desert) and he was injured badly. Not sure if it was a mountain lion or a supernatural creature but I seem to remember him being scratched up with claws and the way it left we weren't sure if he was going to survive (though it wasn't tagged as a death fic). I believe Sam was at Bobbys recovering from an injury or sickness? And I think he just discovered how Dean felt towards him (or maybe they just had 1st time Wincest) and maybe he wasn't too accepting at first or was upset or something? Which was why Dean left? I might be mixing up stories but the part I remember most was Dean being stranded and hurt at the end of the cliffhanger. Ring any bells? Since I don't remember much I'm guessing on some of the tags.

Edit: I might be mixing stories but I *think* before they got to Bobbys Sam was cursed or something and was feverish, etc and begging Dean for sex. Dean had been hiding his feelings for Sam & held out as long as he could before giving in.
