Wincest, J2 or destiel ghost fics?
So I was reading this fic recently, and it got me curious..are there any wincest, J2 or Destiel ghost!fics in the fandom? I mean fics, where one of the boys are a ghost, or some other similar supernatural entity and haunts the other one, because they refuse to move on or something? Or even au fics sort of similar to the one I showed with one of them being convinced that the othe guy is their lover who's still alive or something (kind of a long shot I know)...basically any fic that deals with one of the boys being a ghost (or superantural entity..reapers?) who falls in love (or is in love and refuses to let go) with the other. I have gone through the tags, but somehow I haven't really found any fics of exactly what I'm looking for.

Some of my favourites in that trope, are this fill (even though it's not wincest or J2 or Destiel) on Blindfold and Courting Death by theproblematique.

If there are no other fics in this trope, I will even accept fics from other pairings. Eventual death!fics, and unhappy ending fics welcome.

Thank you!

Song of the Reaper (http://jenshih-blue.livejournal.com/240765.html) by jenshih_blue comes to mind: "Private detective Jensen Ackles is a cynic and believes he’s seen the worst humanity has to offer until one night a dark haired beauty by the name of Genevieve walks into his office. The job, discover the truth behind the death of her fiancé Jared Padalecki, a local artist. The cops have labeled it a suicide, case closed, but she refuses to believe it. As Jensen digs into her fiancés mysterious past, he finds himself drawn into a world darker than he imagined, a world leading to a path of emotional self-destruction. After all—how can you fall in love with a dead man?" It doesn't fit exactly, and there are lots of warnings to heed, but it's a great story.

Another one that doesn't really fit the prompt at all but that you might like anyway is Lady Divine (http://story-monger.livejournal.com/16748.html) by story_monger: "Mary finally has the life she wanted. A loving husband, a son, and a second child on the way. The last thing she needs is anything to do with the supernatural. Then a series of mysterious deaths occur too close for comfort, and Mary starts to realize that her past isn't as far behind her as she thought." It's gen (or Mary/John, sort of), and tells the story of how Mary became the ghost the boys find later.

*looking sheepish* I'm not really a fan of gen fics, but I will give this one a go. The first one looks really interesting though. Thanks!

How about [livejournal.com profile] linvro21's The Strange Affair Of The Ghost On Franklin Street (http://linvro21.livejournal.com/24571.html)

Summary: Jared and Jensen are Private Investigators working on the same case out of the same office. The problem is that Jared lives in 2013 and Jensen died back in 1947.

There's a story by [livejournal.com profile] cherie_morte called Behold, A Pale Horse (http://infatuated-ink.livejournal.com/92188.html) that would fit your criteria nicely. Have your tissue ready.

I remember 'The Empty Room' I believe by [livejournal.com profile] germanjj possibly, it was among the early bigbang years, 2011 maybe?... sorry, I can't find a link right now but you should be able to find it in the masterlists, it was J2 iirc. Here's the link: http://germanjj.livejournal.com/31659.html

You can also try the Ghost-category on [livejournal.com profile] spnnightcrawler it has all kinds of ghost-fic, but the summaries should help you find something that fits your bill!

And, just read this one. It's gorgeous.

Hello (http://archiveofourown.org/works/2121138/chapters/4628868) by askance: "There's a woman at the grocery store named Evelyn who always rings him up on the days he ventures out for food and she knows him, or likes to think she does. I hope you're not too lonely, she'll say. He chooses not to tell her that his dead brother sleeps at his feet every night. He'd rather not be the cause of her inevitable heart attack." (Sam/Dean)

Oh my god, that was perfect!! I totally cried a little at the end (even though it wasn't a sad ending).

You might enjoy Giving Up The Ghost by dimpleforyourthoughts. I'm having trouble linking to it, but it's on AO3 and easily searchable. :)

In this one, Dean is temporarily noncorporeal and it's absolutely excellent. One of my favorite wincest fics, period.
