So I just read In the Deafening Silence yet another time and I was crying again at the end of the story. I just love this fic so much and I really, really want to read more like that!

So my request is, is there any Dean!centric tearjerker fic like this? Be it for any specific reason (Dean being abandoned, depressed, badly hurt, even dead), as long as it's tearjerking because of Dean, not anyother person.

Long fics are always nice, and it'll be super nice if they're set in the first two seasons or are pre-series ones.

Preferablly Gen, but slash fics with a bottom!Dean would do, too.
