I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for but this fic is currently among my favorites of the ones I'm following. It's a high school story where everyone is human with Destiel as a pairing but is also very heavy on the family dynamic of the Novak brothers (Castiel, Gabriel, Balthazar, Lucifer, Michael as well as Raphael as their half-brother). It's a wip but updated regularly.


Summary:
After the tragic death of both of their parents as well as their sister the dysfunctional Novaks decide it's time to move for a fresh start. But a fresh start means a new school with new people and new problems. Castiel is the youngest of the five brothers and is also blind. He has never felt accepted by anyone but his siblings until he meets Dean Winchester and that all changes.
