I've read all the ones on the darkdean comm, and I'd love to find more where Dean is more than he seems (like perhaps the real target of the YED all along). Also ones that show him at his best as a hunter - cool, efficient, quick. And/or where he's slightly murderous. I'm thinking of that scene in 'Bloodlust', right after he's killed the vampire and there's blood splattered on his face. I want fics with a similar tone. Even better if he surprises Sam, who's unused to such a cold, harsh Dean. 

Can be gen, wincest, pre-series, whatever, I'll take it as long as Dean is badass.
